In a development for MMA fans in Central Europe, the Professional Fighters League (PFL) has entered into a significant multi-year partnership with TV Nova, one of the region’s leading media companies. This collaboration, spanning the years 2024-2025, positions TV Nova as the exclusive media partner for the PFL in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

This partnership will bring exclusive PFL content to these countries, including the much-anticipated 2024 PFL Global Regular Season and the 2024 Bellator Champions Series. Fans will also enjoy access to on-demand repeats and highlights, ensuring they don’t miss out on any of the action.

James Frewin, PFL’s Senior Vice President of International, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the league’s commitment to delivering top-tier MMA content to fans in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Frewin emphasized the PFL’s global leadership in MMA and its dedication to providing unparalleled action from its roster of world-class fighters.

The PFL stands out in the MMA world for its unique sports-season format, which sees fighters compete in a regular season, playoffs, and championship within the same year. With a roster that includes 30% of fighters ranked in the top 25 of their weight classes worldwide—a figure that matches the UFC—the PFL and Bellator showcase some of the best talents in the sport. The PFL’s global expansion strategy includes the creation of PFL Europe, PFL MENA, and other international leagues, aiming to establish what it calls the “Champions League of MMA.”

Innovation is at the heart of the PFL’s approach, with its proprietary PFL SmartCage system enhancing the viewing experience through advanced analytics, real-time betting, AI scoring, and more. With a primetime presence on ESPN/ESPN+ in the United States, the PFL’s reach extends to over 150 countries through broadcasts and streams, supported by 20 premium media distribution partners, further solidifying its position as a global MMA powerhouse.
