If you haven’t heard the story of Kane Mousah, it would be hard to believe that he’s found himself thriving as a professional mixed martial artist. Once incarcerated in his mid-20s, Mousah found himself locked inside a cell, reflecting on his decisions that got him there, and what he was going to do once he was out.

Ironically, he didn’t change much of what he loved doing, and his incarceration actually happened during his fighting career. In an interview with Calf Kick Sports, Mousah discussed his time in prison, how he bettered himself, and previewed his co-main event against Dylan Tuke.

Being slotted in a fan-favorite fight in the co-main event slot, Mousah gave credit to PFL matchmaker Dan Hardy for the job he’s done with the company, discussing what separates Hardy from other matchmakers.

“Dan Hardy is a UFC veteran who fought for the belt against ‘GSP’ and he was ironing out. He’s an absolute stud of the game, and it’s not only that, he understands the game. He is the best matchmaker I’ve ever worked for.”

As for his fight against Dylan Tuke, Mousah has a strong message for the fans and his opponent on what to expect in the co-main event.

“Nothing but danger, that’s all I bring. I come to the cage, I come to fight, I come to fight hard, and I come to hurt my opponent. I come in there to get my hand raised. I will win this fight.”

Fans are in for a treat when the veteran Mousah, who will be in his home backyard, takes on a young and hungry Tuke.Watch the video interview above with Kane Mousah to hear him discuss his co-main event fight with Tuke, his love for PFL, and the journey he went on to get through prison and come out better on the other side.
