The Ibragimov family is full of talented athletes, Ibragim is an undefeated MMA fighter on the PFL Europe roster, and his three younger brothers are all young stars signed to the Manchester United football club.

Ibragim Ibragimov will be making his PFL promotional debut against Cage Warriors veteran Josh Reed, who will also be making his PFL debut. Training out of Manchester Top Team, Ibragimov will be fighting in his backyard for his debut, and in an interview with Calf Kick Sports he said he doesn’t feel any pressure at this stage in his career.

Being undefeated as both an amateur and professional, riding a 13-fight winning streak, making his PFL debut in his adopted home of England, Ibragimov says he feels no pressure despite the early success.

“To be honest, I don’t feel no pressure because I’m training with the best partners. I’m here in Dagestan at Khabib [Nurmagomedov] gym, I don’t feel no pressure at all.”

With one of the greatest fighters in combat sports history training him, Ibragimov says their one piece of advice that sticks with him the most from Nurmagomedov, and it’s the former UFC champion’s go-to coaching quote.

“If you want to be successful, you have to train hard that’s what he always says. If you see him giving interviews, that’s what he says, ‘train, eat, sleep, repeat’ that’s what you have to do.”

Feeling at home in Newcastle, Ibragimov says he feels free with no pressure coming into his promotional debut and is excited for the opportunity to extend his undefeated record.
